Easy to use. As with Super and Enterprise Series, the Genesis log slitter boasts numerous features that make it easy to use. For example, Genesis' ExpansionRing lets you secure a roll of material onto the core shaft in seconds—just turn the lever, and the roll is secured.
Reliable. The Genesis roll slitter is a true workhorse. Thanks to a self-lubricating blade assembly called WetBlade, you can make dozens of cuts on even highly-adhesive materials, and the blade will not gum up, seize or bind to the material. Driving the core shaft at 500RPM is a 0.75HP or 1.5HP Baldor motor, one of most reliable motors made. The vast majority of our customers have been using Genesis for several years, day-in and day-out, in heavy production, without any downtime. In fact, Genesis is so reliable, with exception to periodic blade replacement, they are virtually maintenance-free.
Convenient. Having your own roll slitter means never again having to wait for special orders or material to be custom-cut elsewhere. In addition to saving time, Genesis will also save you money: First, by allowing you to bulk-order rolls of material directly from the manufacturer (at a considerable cost-per-square-foot savings); second, by allowing you to reduce your own stock of special-width material. With the Genesis roll slitter, you can custom-cut any width of material anytime, in just a few minutes.
Solid. Genesis is built strong. We use an industrial-grade bearing assembly called StrongArm to stabilize the core shaft. The result? Even when turning 150lb-logs at 500RPM, the core shaft rotates smoothly and evenly. The benefit is clean, true cuts every time. Genesis is made from 3/16" (4.76mm) steel plate and tubing, welded to form a uni-body frame. Prior to final-assembly, the frame is powder-coated, producing a smooth, durable finish.
Affordable. The Genesis roll slitter is easy to use, built to last, and a great value.
